Don't we have the right to gather at Dataran? What is the meaning Merdeka if people have no right to gather peacefully? In fact the main part of Dataran was guarded off limit to the crowd by a big battalion of policemen. We only gathered at the side of it.
There were 3 journalists from the Singapore Channel Asia News transmitted the news life on the spot at around 4:30pm.
The crowd dispersed at around 5:30pm peacefully with shouts of People Dataran! People Dataran! People Dataran!
Thanks to the policemen who were there on duty.
