HIMPUN : does Islam need anti-apostasy law to keep believers from leaving?

HIMPUN: The Anti-apostasy Rally this Saturday 22/10/2011

The organizers has got permit to gather a million Muslim in Shah Alam Stadium to preserve the sanctity of Islam.

The intention is to champion Islam and the Malay race.

Nik Aziz and Anwar had asked members of PAS and Keadilan not to support the rally.

However Nik Aziz' s son has been reported to support it.

Many are puzzled to the logic how the call to gather a million of the faithful can preserve the sanctity of Islam.

How the Anti-apostasy rally will reduce the believers from the freedom of their choice what they want to believe.

Is there no freedom for the Malays to believe any other belief of their choice?

Why are they afraid?

Are they afraid that once there is no restriction all the Muslims will leave Islam?

Have they got no confidence in Islam to keep their flock?

We often hear that there is no compulsion in Islam. Is that true?

Latest news on Himpun Anti-apostasy rally

Latest news on Himpun Anti-apostasy Rally

I think that that they will not be able to gather a fraction of the million!
Why? See in Bersih 2.0 how many could Khairy brought...a few. What about the self proclaimed general, Ibrahim of Perkasa...sleeping...!

Nik Aziz's son support the rally. And some in Pakatan even after Nik Aziz and Anwar Ibrahim called their members not to support the rally.

This rally apparently have been endorsed by the power to be...see the permit for the rally, it was immediate! In contrast Bersih 2.0 did not get it even after the Agong intervention. Now you can see who is behind? Who has such a wisdom to unite the Muslims to support their political end.

We will wait for the latest as news pour in. Will keep you posted!

Is the Demise of Umno/BN Government imminent?

Is the demise of Umno/BN Government imminent?
Has BN lost the masses? Does the majority of the people want a change in Malaysia? Are the people happy with the way Umno/BN are governing the nation?
Most people I randomly surveyed want a change. Too many things are going wrong like too much water vapor is gathering as dark cloud with thunder and lightning that a torrent is imminent like the coming  13 GE, which to me will be held before this year is over!

There were so much plundering in the past 54 years under the hegemony of Umno. In the book Malaysian Maverick by Barry Wain revealed that as much as RM100billion was burned on wasteful grand projects, and the corruption it engendered. Even after the 2008 Election BN lost the 5 states, the Umno/BN government continued to go on it's old way of governing namely the most serious mistake is not having open tender for all the Government projects. Apparently the corruption from the highest to the lowest level still go on like nobody business.

This brings me to the wealth of our nation top money generating company- Petronas. I really don't understand how Petronas can be treated by Umno as it's own private company. The only reason I see is that of the over powering government of Umno without any check and balance.

There are too many things that are not right in this country so much so that Tengku Razaleigh Hamza from Umno had even appeared in the Undilah music video promoting to vote which disappeared from government media soon after the initial broadcast was done. This must be due to the truth being told when KuLi echoed that there are too many things that are wrong in this country.

The foremost in the Chinese mind is the death of Teoh Beng Hock. How a young man went in to be questioned by MACCon a minor case of misuse of a mere RM2000 by his political boss but instead he came out as a corpse. There are so much iniquities in MACC  that Ahmad Sarbani Mohamad soon after that also died in a similar way as Teoh Beng Hock.

On the ground, people are concern with  bread and butter. Inflation has sky rocketed. Even for me personally, I felt that electricity bill, petrol bill and food bill has gone up in a frightening way, the ordinary folks must be feeling it badly.

Worst of all since 2008 people began to observe the Pakatan states to see  how well they have done. This is going to be a killer for Umno/BN in the ballot box.

In the recent Budget, the goodies Najib threw out are seen as small change to beggars in contrast to the wealth wasted in corruption by Umno/BN. it was reported by alternative media as Mindless Budget by giving money but have no policy changes to bring in long lasting progress.

Overall Umno/BN has been seen to have too little changes, too late like a man with a diabetic foot if not  managed fast enough, will not only lose his leg but may end up losing his life. This fate, I am afraid will befall  Umno/BN.

Can the people of Malaysia ever forgive Mahathir ?

Can the people of Malaysia ever forgive Mahathir ?

Is God so weak that He needs man to help? Himpun anti- apostasy rally

Ridiculous logic only can comes from the pit of hell?

I heard that there will be a big rally at Shah Alam stadium on 22 October, Saturday 2PM organized by Perkida, Perkasa etc.

Who is the man that  thinks he has the mandate from heaven/hell to take away the inherent right of us all the freedom to choose who/what to believe! Who is he that comes  out with the idea to gather the masses to demonstrate against the freedom to change one's religious belief? Will the master mind stand up? What is the end result he wants to see? What is his motive?

God the creator gives us the most precious gift of freedom. Without it we are all robot without choice. A programmed restricted man without a free will is not man but robot.

This mentality is not unusual among us who have been in Malaysia or many Middle East countries. It presents  to us as illogical, ridiculous mandate of heaven/hell to force people to obey their religious teaching. It comes in the form of religious policing like you must fast in the month of Ramadan, you can't have proximity of physical interaction like holding hands with the opposite sex. It even tells you to cover up all your body parts when you are in public's view even the hair on your head when you are a female. Think of it, isn't it ridiculous? As though God/gods need the self appointed leaders to enforce His/their moral/religious code. Their god/gods  appear to us as a weakling who will not be able to judge/punish his followers in due course needing help from puny man to enforce the rule and code.

Now the question is where this idea originate? From God? From heaven? From hell?

Something 'fishy' about Himpun, don't you think?
