It’s the system that turns good leaders bad
It’s the system that turns good leaders bad hopefully when Pakatan take over, there will be an overhaul of the whole system!
Ex-IGP says ministers and politicians interfered with investigations and arrests
It was reported today in NST that ex- Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said the above.
Musa retired in Sept 2010. It was alleged that his term was not extended because he did comply to the political master. Who else? All along, we have the suspicion and perception that all our institutions have come under the thumb of the PM starting during Maharthir's time.
What Musa said has confirmed our doubt. It is high time for us ordinary folks to do within our power of influence to augur for change.
Below just a portion from a report of NST ON 17 Oct 2012 related to Musa and Anwar, as a background story for your information.
"Anwar had lodged a police report on July 1, 2008, claiming Musa and Gani had fabricated evidence and hidden facts in the investigations into the assault on him by the then Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Noor in 1998.
Musa filed a suit against Anwar three weeks later, alleging that the allegations were baseless, untrue and had tarnished his reputation, image, sincerity and good name.
Musa also contended that Anwar acted with bad intention in lodging the report against him.
He had said that Anwar's police report alleged that he had misused his power to fabricate evidence. Musa had sought general, exemplary and aggravated damages, interest, costs and other relief deemed fit by the court.
Tan Sri Musa Hassan says there was a misunderstanding over his role"

Himpunan Hijau at Dataran Merdeka
Wong Tack spoke to the crowd of about 20,000, some said 30,000, at around 5:30pm on 25th. November, Sunday: "You have come forward...Malaysia has come forward..."
14 days ago Wong Tack with a group of 70 people started the long walk from Kuantan. The people of all shapes, sizes, color and creed of ordinary folks, some young family with kids join them along the way. The crowd swelled up to 3000 on the 13th. Day and the phenomenal support of people mushroomed to 20,000 on the final day at Jalan Perak/Tengku Abdul Rahman junction next to Dataran Merdeka.
It was peaceful, a contrast to Bersih 3.0 rampage of beating, tear gas and chemically-laced water cannon.
The people are peaceful, how can they be otherwise?
The phenomenal support augur well for a better Malaysia.
Himpunan Hijau at Dataran Merdeka on Monday 26th. November
Mr. Wong Tack said:" Our journey just started. We are renewed in our strength. In the days to come we will move with faster pace!"
He declared that the present Government no longer listens nor cares for the need of the people. We will have to do what we can to reclaim our democracy right in our country.
3 resolutions by Himpunan Hijau:
1. To close the Lynas plant.
2. All other projects like the many hydroelectric dams, mining using environmental unfriendly chemical should be reviewed.
3. Any future project should give ample time for people to review before deciding.

Dong Zong 1125 . How big is the crowd?
I wonder how do you count the number of such a big crowd of people? How do you estimate?
Please take a look at the photos I have taken.
Can someone who are in this line of work, help do the counting?
Thank you!

Najib "We are ready to change"
I am just back from Dong Zong 1125 peaceful appeal at Amcorp, PJ yesterday (Sunday, 25 Nov). After Dong Zong, PJ event, I also on the same day attended the 4pm Himpunan Hijau at Outside Dataran Merdeka.
When I opened the Star Paper, I saw the front page on what Najib said.
I am puzzled why he said what he said. You mean after 55 years of rule, you are only ready to change now? Saying such thing just before election? People will surely say, "Najib, you must be kidding!"
Since 2009, after Abdullah Ahmad Badawi handed Najib the premiership, now only he said "We are ready to change"? Shouldn't he has done this earlier on? Why last minute before the election?
What sort of change?
Alas, I quote what the Star said, "The PM said various forms of financial aid had been handed out to the Rakyat and hinted that the Government might provide more assistance."
Oh, you mean just raining cash on the Rakyat. That is the change he his talking about? What a shame! He is giving money in exchange for votes!
We are looking for a nation with equal opportunity for all. We want leaders who are not self serving. Worst of, if they are corrupted! We want justice and fairness in our society.
Look at the Umno/BN leaders, there are so much rampant corruption, abuse of power, injustice in so many things that are going on in our nation.
Take for example corruption, the recent Sharizat Cowgate, Michael Chia 40 million ringgit cash scandal. Every year the Auditor General's report of inflated purchases years in and years out. Nothing is done to rectify?
For abuse of power, how after 55 years, the vernacular schools are not provided with a proper policy to train enough teachers? Why not enough provision are provided to the vernacular schools?
Why Lynas is allowed to operate in Kuantan? What is the benefit to the Rakyat? Who and how much will Lynas brings? Why there is so much disregard to the safety and health on such questionable dealing such as Lynas?
Najib, Najib, raining cash is not the change we want, nor the slogan, rhetoric or words that you say. When what you say is just words not backed up with facts or policy changes, you are seen to bribe the Rakyat . To many of us you are belittling our intellect !

Himpunan Hijau
Mr. Wong Tuck addressed the crowd at 5pm They walked 300km from Kuantan to Dataran Merdeka for 13 days. The future is in the people hands he told the crowd.
The crowd was large. You can see for yourself . The photos are taken on a clock wise angles.
Mr. Wong Tuck started with a few people 13 days ago. Every stop over the past many days he and team was greeted with welcome from the people. The crowd started to swell up at 4pm to day outside of the Dataran.
He will meet the parliamentarians tomorrow at 9am at the Dataran Merdeka. Meanwhile he asked for 3 square feet at the Dataran to put up a night. People were encouraged to join him.
After Wong address, one police officer took the microphone warned the people that they need the permit to gather at Dataran. If not the organizer will be scrutinized, he warned.
Don't we have the right to gather at Dataran? What is the meaning Merdeka if people have no right to gather peacefully? In fact the main part of Dataran was guarded off limit to the crowd by a big battalion of policemen. We only gathered at the side of it.
There were 3 journalists from the Singapore Channel Asia News transmitted the news life on the spot at around 4:30pm.
The crowd dispersed at around 5:30pm peacefully with shouts of People Dataran! People Dataran! People Dataran!
Thanks to the policemen who were there on duty.

Perhimpunan Hijau 4pm today
Policemen stand on guard. Nobody is allowed! Why? Purpose? I really cannot make out why are they so afraid for the people to gather there.
Perhimpunan Hijau at 4pm today.
Thousands of people are gathering peacefully outside Dataran because it is closed by a lot of policemen standing on guard.
