Far from offering a waterproof theory, Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar has claimed that the guns missing from the police force may have fallen into the sea.

When the police start to lose guns, cars and can't find them, what about the Rakyat. We lose a car, we report to the police for help. Now we see they can't help themselves !

I think we must get people who are better qualify and with integrity to become police!

Shabu, or "ice" is a drug, Methamphetamine abused by addicts.

Hostility is a main characteristic of this drug. In contrast to Morphine or Heroine, Opioid class of drug, the addicts are docile or complying in character.

Hope that our police are well informed on such fact so that extra precaution is taken when dealing with such suspect .

My sympathy and condolences to the family members of Lance Corporal Zal Azri Abd Soma, 31, (pic) died on the spot of fatal head injury.

What bother me is that why this police is alone?

Is he not armed?

Although a Syabu addict is hostile, it is highly unlikely to be killed by an escaping addict.

I am sure the family of the deceased  police need an in-depth investigation to find out the actual cause and circumstance of the fatal injury. 

Have the police caught all the gangsters in the street?

Reported in Sinchew today, 24 Sept 2013, that in a Police operation named OPS CANTAS KHAS from 17 August till 18 Sept, police has arrested 8898 people in connection to gangsterism.

Looked like, there have been for a long time, the police are not active. Lately, are they having spring cleaning on gangsterism ?

Or are they arbitrarily rounding them up?

You don't blame the people for such perception. How not to?

We see police recently were the judges as well as the executioners by terminating 5 so called Indian gangsters in their sleep at 4am when they raided the house. How can they do that? Is ours a police state? 

Recently, there were lots of people with tattoo find themselves in panic because they are afraid to be caught by police.

The moral of the story is, do not tattoo yourself!

What if you already have one. What to do? 

If our friend come for you, face them in court to see in which law, the people is not suppose to have tattoo?

Ex-IGP says ministers and politicians interfered with investigations and arrests

It was reported today in NST that ex- Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said the above.
Musa retired in Sept 2010. It was alleged that his term was not extended because he did comply to the political master. Who else? All along, we have the suspicion and perception that all our institutions have come under the thumb of the PM starting during Maharthir's time.
What Musa said has confirmed our doubt. It is high time for us ordinary folks to do within our power of influence to augur for change.

Below just a portion from a report of NST ON 17 Oct 2012 related to Musa and Anwar, as a background story for your information.

"Anwar had lodged a police report on July 1, 2008, claiming Musa and Gani had fabricated evidence and hidden facts in the investigations into the assault on him by the then Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Noor in 1998.
Musa filed a suit against Anwar three weeks later, alleging that the allegations were baseless, untrue and had tarnished his reputation, image, sincerity and good name.
Musa also contended that Anwar acted with bad intention in lodging the report against him.
He had said that Anwar's police report alleged that he had misused his power to fabricate evidence. Musa had sought general, exemplary and aggravated damages, interest, costs and other relief deemed fit by the court.

Ah Long illness in our society-Below is my letter to the Star paper editor

I read "Why are Ah Longs so untouchable?" in The Star, today, Saturday July 23 2011.

I am sure it is the public knowledge where Ah Longs are putting up all sort of posters blatantly everywhere. Now that I read what Mr Paul Singh, Kuala Lumpur have highlighted in your paper, I began to realize that it is not only occurring in Melaka where I am residing.

Now the question Mr Paul asked, why the police are not apprehending the Ah Longs is the" very question we have been asking in our mind for a long time.

The only reason I can think of for the police is that Ah Long is not their priority. They have so many other cases to be busy with.

I do pity our police who are already have their hands full especially just after the Bersih 2.0 Rally where they were kept busy. I observed that they have been very efficient putting road blocks as early as July 1st. even though Bersih was on July 9th. They locked down the whole of Kuala Lumpur especially the areas near the Merdeka Stadium. I know this so well because I was there in the Bersih Rally.

It is very easy to notice where the police are kept busy, just take a look in your paper today, page NATION 27, "Shooter can't be determined". The individual who caused the death of 15-year-old Aminulrasyid Amzah could not be determined because there were two policemen who fired the shots. Mine you, the above case happened more than a year ago in last April. I really pity the police who had been kept so busy for more than a year now, trying to police their own colleagues.

Just one more example where our police are kept busy. Your paper again, today, July 23 2011,page 34 Other News & Views, "Cops produce proof to refute Mat Sabu's claim" the cops have to come up with CCTV footage that shows the motorcycle ferrying Mat Sabu avoiding the police car before hitting a road divider. Here, the police is involve in politic trying to defense the political masters. No wonder, the Rakyat concerns are not in their priority list.

Let me share with your readers my personal encounters in making reports to the police. They actually are doing the job of a clerk filing up my reports, that is all. How do I  know it? Just ask the police, they will tell you what they are busy with. My reports are not their priority.

I have came across other people who just simply not making reports to the police any more. So sad.

They will tell you the police, instead of investigating the case, they who make the report are kept busy being interviewed. The reports just end up in the files.

So much so now, we just better save our time in reporting because it is going to be a futile exercise. I am sure this is a common knowledge.

Now, let me come back the the illness of Ah Long in our society. I think it is just the symptom and sign of many of our fellow Malaysians finding difficulty in getting proper loan from the bank. If not, why borrow from Ah Longs who charge such an exorbitant interest? People who go to Ah Longs are at the dead end financially.

I propose many of us can come up with micro-financing to help giving out soft loans to those who are worthy of help. What prevents us from doing it is that we neither have the expertise nor the man power to hand out the loan securely. Money, in my view is the least problem. Many will donate to help those who are genuinely in need of help. The other thing that prevents us from helping is that Malaysia is full of up to date regulations and licenses that restricting us instead of helping us to help others.

May be, the police can be forth coming to let us know how they have been coping especially with the slogan, "People first, performance now".

Security is bad, real bad, what to do?

Went to Pasar Malam yesterday at Taman Harta Pertama, Bukit Baru, Melaka at 5.10pm. Bought some fruits,eggs and tau fo, within 10 minutes, we were back at the car, Melody, my daughter first noticed the window of the car was broken. My computer bag with no valuable to the thief (I have valuable documents) was gone . However, 2 other bags with valuables were around!
Went to the Police Station immediately, thinking, at least a detective with a gun can come to search the place. The police did not do that.
As fast as I could, without completing the report, I went back to the scene of crime. Start asking the car washing boys around if they see any one with the black computer bag. Went to the mosque, the Abang told me last week, the Tabung Derma in the mosque was stolen. Even the mosque is not spared! Went round the area, look at all the rubbish bins to see if my bag was there. Expecting the thief to chuck the bag as soon as he did not find what he wanted, the computer! Told some friends around the area to look out for my bag!
Went back to the Bukit Baru Police Station to complete my report. After spending 1 hour, was told that I need to report to Sjn Subri at Melaka Tengah, he is not free to come to Bukit Baru, I have to go. Spent at least another hour there!
By the time I finished my report, while driving home, I looked at my watch, it was already 8.30pm. I asked myself, what is the use of reporting?
Can any one give me some feedback?
This is not my first report at the Station. The Mercedes Logo in front of the car had been stolen 3 times! wasting a lot of time reporting!
Do you think so?
In fact the police ladies in the police station at Bukit Baru told me last Thursday, there was a similar case of car window breaking at the same Pasar Malam! Did the police take any action?
I felt like going next Thursday, during the Pasar Malam to watch over the place (ambush! the culprit.) Do you think I should do the detective job? Seriously, I am thinking of doing it! Who will provide me with a gun?

Went to Melaka Tengah.

Reported to the police at Bukit Baru. Got the report. Was told to see the detective at Melaka Tengah.

Good samaritan, Mr Yap Hon Chong found the bag in the drain out side of RHD Bank in Bukit Baru! Thank God for him. All the things in the bag are intact. He brought the bag at 12 noon. He noticed my name cards in the bag, that led him to my clinic.
