Kongres Maruah Melayu

The Kongres Maruah Melayu proposes giving scholarships only to Malays. Why only to the Malays? Give to those who are qualified on need-based not race-based. We should give to qualified poor Malays, poor Chinese, poor Indians, poor Kadazan, poor Iban, poor Malaysians. Those who are well to do, will not need help. My many successful ex-Malay classmates will be able to render help to the needy irrespective of race or religion. It proposes to keep only Malay schools and close down on all other vernacular schools because only one language can unite the people. This is furthest from the truth. It is the racist politicians who are the one dividing the people. I propose to keep the Malay, Chinese and Indian schools. Let the people have the choices where to go. Now we have seen increasingly Malays sending their children to Chinese schools. Why? They must be so confident that it is advantageous for their children in the future to acquire Chinese language that is used by the multitude in the world. Bring back the English schools to let people have more choices. From our experience, all races from English schools have united us MALAYSIANS. Many of my ex- Malay classmates can testify to this. Moreover, English is a global language which we need to progress and there is such prediction that 100 years from now, English is going to be one of the few languages that will remain.

The most powerful head of state so far

If you are reading the Chinese newspapers you will realise a lot of the writers write stories about the happenings with the evil regime. In order not to be caught red handed, so to say, they put it in story form, parable. Now here is an example in English I see for the first time. Interesting. See below- DEAR THELMA The star, Najib in the Dear Thelma is born in a political home whose father was a PM. He himself became a PM, he is really good at the Arts of political manoeuvres. In contrast, Pak Lah was at Kindergarten in politics- he just stepped down, whereas our friend here fight like nobody else he is so good at it that it is a marvel that he is still in power....many head of the state would have stepped down like Pak Lah. He fired the deputy PM and many others who just spoke up on 1 MDB. Attorney general changed. All in MCA, Gerakan, MIC with all the total of 13 components parties in BN still supporting Najib. This is due to “Cash is King” many of them received millions of ringgit- this is fact where some ministers have openly stated the millions they got from Najib. Najib when he was first caught with his pants down he confessed that, “ I did not use the money for myself!” See Google-2nd answer: The account does not exist! 3rd answer: Najib Razak's account name spelled by WSJ is incorrect. 4th answer: I did not use the money for myself. 5th answer: WSJ has defamed me. 6th answer: I will ... Some say Dr Mahathir made the monster, he now left with the last act to kill the monster himself. Ya... my friend said the chickens have come home to roost! See if Mahathir will be successful. A leader mentor predicted that Harapan has won! He said it started in the hearts of the people. Be ready to take over from BN. People power. Together we stand, togethet we can! DEAR THELMA I'm a very successful man in my profession. I was very happy until my 2nd marriage to a lady which walked like an angel, talked like an angel. But over the years she grew... n Thelma, believe me when I say she grew... even her hair grew. Then when I got promoted, she was so happy that she bought me a private jet... n when I ask her where she got the money to pay for it, she stared at me n said - "don't worry, It's a donation not for personal gain". There was one time at work I met a Mongolian lady. She was pretty n we got pretty close in Paris. But my tiger wife found out about it n she blew up. After that, I became very afraid of her. To make her happy, at Valentine I bought her some pink roses to match my pink lips, but she wanted pink diamonds... big ones... She said big lady need big diamonds to look good. I look at her n don't know what to say... thank goodness I have this low chubby business friend... n he help "donate" a big pink diamond... n many other goodies. Then, she wanted bags... to carry all those expensive diamonds... one bag not enough... so she bought many... one new one for every big occasion. To pay for all these, I had to talk to my low chubby friend to get more n more big donations from my "Arab friend". Now some nosy Parker found out about all these donations n wants me to resign... n that's why I had to get even more donations to share with my "loyal friends" so that I can remain in my position... I sometimes wonder, if they r really my "loyal friends", then why I need to share my donations with them... I looked at them n wonder what are those brown sticky stuff on their nose. Now, everyday I have to worry until my hair all turned white... So I have power, I have a big wife, I have personal jets... I have more money than the national bank... but I live in worry n fear... I suspect my cousin n my Indonesian assistant maybe plotting to overthrow me... n I suspect my old doctor also plotting against me. Thelma, now I can't sleep well at night... I worry all the time. What should I do?😣🙄 🤪😁

Two faiths, one roof and a shared humanity

Two faiths, one roof and a shared humanity: Watch what happens when a Muslim girl stays in the home of a Christian family in Indonesia.

This video reminds me of my childhood's day where we have 3 faiths, one roof.

My father rented rooms to those in Teacher's College, Alex was a Christian; Samad, Ramli, Sahak, Dul and Jamal were Muslim ; whereas my family at that time was Chinese tradition belief.

It was such a delight to hear Samad's voice when we have a reunion after more than half a century!

Good questions, Dzukifli – MACC must not only resist Najib hiving off SPRM to Paul Low, it must demand MACC comes directly under an Opposition-headed Parliamentary Committee to ensure its independence and professionalism

Good questions, Dzukifli – MACC must not only resist Najib hiving off SPRM to Paul Low, it must demand MACC comes directly under an Opposition-headed Parliamentary Committee to ensure its independence and professionalism: “Who are you to control us, MACC boss gives Low a blow” is the Malaysiakini headline for a Penang-datelined report of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commis

From My Detention in Malaysia, Thoughts on Islam and Tolerance

From My Detention in Malaysia, Thoughts on Islam and Tolerance: Mustafa Akyol New York Times SEPT. 28, 2017 I am writing this column from an airplane, on my way from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to my new home, Wellesley, Ma.A Muslim scholar was invited to Malaysia to speak on Islam, ended up being interrogated by religious authorities!

Whatever suppressive cruelty one set for so call enemies is a double edged sword, eventually it will end up torturing oneself or one's own people and family members.

There should be no compulsion in religion, once people start to play God by policing the people in religious matters than liberty and freedom we treasure will be gone.

Challenge to Speaker Pandikar to cite an instance from another Commonwealth Parliament where the Speaker used sub judice rule over court proceeding in another country to stop parliamentary question, debate or scrutiny of a financial scandal

Challenge to Speaker Pandikar to cite an instance from another Commonwealth Parliament where the Speaker used sub judice rule over court proceeding in another country to stop parliamentary question, debate or scrutiny of a financial scandal: The Speaker of Parliament, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia, likes to quote back to me one observation I had made in Parliament, that a good Speaker does nspeak much

MP for Puchong, Gobind Singh Deo, who also had questions on 1MDB rejected by the Speaker, had given notice on Wednesday of a substantive motion to review the Speaker’s rulings which in first-world Parliaments, would have come up for debate and decision in Parliament after a 48-hour notice.

Challenge to Najib to emulate Lee Hsien Loong and have a no-holds barred debate in Parliament on the 1MDB scandal where he would answer all questions raised by MPs on the scandal

In Singapore, its premier Lee Hsien Loong went to Parliament to answer all questions about the controversy with his siblings with regard to their late father and the island republic’s first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew’s residence at Oxley Rise, but in Malaysia, Parliament was prohibited from asking questions about the 1MDB scandal, with questions from over 30 MPs rejected on the most ridiculous and indefensible grounds – although the 1MDB scandal turned Malaysia into a global kleptoracy overnight.

Cabinet today should speak up for a moderate Malaysia for a change, suspend the ban on G25 book and form a high-level committee to hold public hearings whether the book should be banned

Cabinet today should speak up for a moderate Malaysia for a change, suspend the ban on G25 book and form a high-level committee to hold public hearings whether the book should be banned: The reported ban on G25 book on “Breaking the Silence –Voices of Moderation: Islam in a Constitutional Democracy” is so extraordinary and unbelieveable th
What is the use of the Prime Minister launching the international initiative of a Global Movement of Moderates, when for the past seven years it had not shown any of the three attributes of being “global”, “a movement’ or “moderate” if the Cabinet allows the forces of extremism and intolerance to rear their ugly heads by jettisoning the constitutional principles of moderation, such as arbitrarily banning the G25 book.

DAP is not afraid of holding CEC elections but only UMNO’s perversity and capriciousness to use RoS to sabotage the DAP preparations for the 14GE for a change of Federal government in Putrajaya: In the 51 history of the DAP, the party is no stranger to plots and conspiracies by the ruling coalition to sabotage, destabilise and destroy the party, and th
